Mustafa Maraz, who learned his father's profession of carpentry at an early age, decided to cover the interior and the case part of the "Anadol" brand truck he bought 5 years ago.
Removing all the plastic and detachable parts in the truck, Maraz prepared walnut wood parts according to the dimensions of the parts and assembled them on the vehicle.
Covering the inside of the truck, with walnut tree in 2 months, Maraz reinterpreted the 42-year-old truck with wood.
Woodworker Mustafa Maraz said that; my father wanted, my to learn the profession with someone else, therefore I went to Istanbul at an early age and learned the profession here.
Explaining that he returned to his hometown after working in Istanbul for a long time and had been working on furniture in Ilgaz for 30 years, Maraz said, "There is nothing I cannot do on wood. I do furniture, kitchen cabinet, cloakroom. raised me. " he spoke.
Stating that he was interested in "Anadol" brand vehicles and bought the van 5 years ago, Maraz said, "When I bought the vehicle, it was inoperable. I bought this vehicle for 2,500 liras. I removed all parts of the car, I made the paint and the furniture I did it myself" said.
Stating that wood is healthier than plastic, that is why the vehicle is completely covered with walnut tree, Maraz continued as follows:
"The tree is more suitable for health. I made the steering wheel, the torpedo, all parts of the car made of wood. I disassembled all the plastic parts, I made all of them wooden. I covered the seats with genuine leather.
"My father was also keen on Anadol"
Maraz, who wrote "My Dear Father" heartily on the steering wheel of the truck covered with wood, stated that he could not have an "Anadol" because he could not save enough money although his father wanted it very much.
Expressing that he very much wanted his father to see the vehicle he made, Maraz said, "My father has been dead for 23 years. My father could not get an 'Anadol' before. I wrote this here to keep him alive.
I wish my father was alive and he saw it. he said.
