According to a study conducted in Russia, it was stated that 70 percent of furniture manufacturers could go bankrupt within a month and a half.

It is noted that 70 percent of furniture manufacturers in Russia can go bankrupt. The Russian Furniture and Woodworking Association on the issue claimed that 70 percent of their businesses in the industry could go bankrupt within a month and a half. According to the research conducted by the RBK agency, the member companies of the association expressed such a possibility. While 69 percent of the furniture manufacturers participating in the survey said that the financial strength of their business was one and a half months, 6 percent stated that it was sufficient for six months. 23 percent of companies believe that they can overcome the crisis period. 3 percent stopped production.

According to the Union, as of April 15, 2020, 41 percent of furniture manufacturers did not generate any income from retail sales, while 31 percent reported a fall of more than 50 percent.
